“So let’s do it—full of belief... Let’s keep a firm grip on the promises that keep us going. He always keeps his word. Let’s see how inventive we can be in encouraging love and helping out, not avoiding worshiping together as some do but spurring each other on.” –Hebrews 10:24-25

Sunday, December 24th 2018 - CHRISTMAS EVE

Text: Luke 2:1-20

Sermon Title: Pageant or Praise?

Theme: In an increasingly secular world when religion in all forms is
increasingly taking a back seat to everything else Christmas is still
important for many reasons. But the real question is this: Has it
become just a pageant that brings families together or is it a chance to praise God for what The Lord

accomplished through Christ.
Questions to think About as You Read:
 How can Christmas become more than just a pageant for you?
 What are you favorite Christmas memories?
