“So let’s do it—full of belief... Let’s keep a firm grip on the promises that keep us going. He always keeps his word. Let’s see how inventive we can be in encouraging love and helping out, not avoiding worshiping together as some do but spurring each other on.” –Hebrews 10:24-25

Text:Exodus 20:1-11

Sermon Title: “Putting The HORSE Before the Cart”

Theme The first three commandments come first rather than at the end
because they remind us of the importance of establishing our
relationship with God first. Once that is established it has definite
implications for the rest of our relationships.

Questions to Think About as You Read:
1) How many of the Ten Commandments can you recite without looking them up?
2) Why do you think they are called the Ten Commandments in The Bible rather
than the “Ten Good Ideas” or the “Ten Suggestions?”
